E-Transfer to give@belovedchurch.ca is automatic, instant, and with no transaction fees.
Credit Card options can be set up in Church Center or using the online giving portal found on this page. Giving can be set up as one time or recurring. Recurring is a great option for planning and consistency.
Give in person at the What's Next? area before and after service. Giving in person can be with cash, cheque, debit, or credit card. Cheques can be made out to BeLoved City Church.
Yes, all donations are eligible for Canadian tax receipts issued from BeLoved City Church each year in February. Amounts are in Canadian dollars.
You can view and download tax statements by logging into Church Center via the app or online. It's secure and convenient!

Additional funds used for sowing into God's Kingdom within our church, city, nation, and world are:

Heart for Nanaimo is a fund designated for local reach and partnerships with like-minded organizations within our city.
National Missions is our fund designated for things like new church startups within our nation of Canada.
International Missions is a fund designated for special projects with approved global reach partnerships.
*Spending of funds are confined to the approval and direction of the Board of Directors. Contributions are received with the understanding that funds will be designated where most needed.
Donations must be received within our account by end of day December 31st for the amount to show on your yearly tax receipt. If you choose to give on December 31st, we recommend using e-transfer to ensure we receive the funds before the end of the year.

BeLoved City Church is a registered charity. Donating appreciated stocks, mutual funds, or stock options means you pay no tax on capital gains. You will receive a tax receipt for the value on the date the security is received.
Generosity is living our values in how we reflect the heart of God to one another. It changes us, it changes the world around us. It changes everything. Generosity is the very heartbeat of Christ who gave of Himself. Generosity is more than just giving money, it's an attitude of releasing and allowing Jesus to lead us in our time, energy, and finance.
Generosity comes from an overflow of our gratitude and love for God. A genuine heart of generosity is present when we are in relationship with God. Giving, serving, and loving from a heart of generosity are true marks of discipleship in our lives. This is our ethics being transformed by Jesus.
OUR WORSHIP
Worship, or worth-ship is more than just a song, or service to one another. Worship is what we place our values in. Whether we're worshipping at church, a concert, a basketball game, in nature, or elsewhere; we are placing worth to the object that has captivated our soul. Giving to God with our recources of time, energy, and money is how we worship Him. Giving as worship is a posture of trust and surrender to God as we say thank You, You are worthy, You are my Provider, and I love You.
Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
